I think you look beautiful with your purple hair. I, myself had purple hair once upon a time. (I then went from that to a fire engine red/orange color very reminiscent of Flame Princess from Adventure Time) Also, I adore the necklace you’re wearing in that picture. Might I ask where you purchased it?
Thanks! Love your blog btws. I used to have red hair as well, back when I was 18. This necklace I picked up at a garage sale, but the pendant I bought at a booth 2010 con, I can’t remember which one. Lots of places sell dice pendants though, and I’ve seen lots of necklaces like this recently at places like Diva jewelry
My new hair! I’m a purple nurple and I’ve never been so happy!!
Im tired of living for other people who body police me, thinking that because of my job that I owe them my body in the style they prefer. Seriously, this happens! So much so hat I bought a wig that looks like my old hair to shoot in so I wouldn’t have to deal with enraged man-children. But I love the way I look, and I’m not going to pretend I don’t.
My body is part of my work, but that doesn’t mean you own me as a patron or customer. If you like me for me then my hair color shouldn’t matter. I’ve been told my “naturalness” is the only reason people like me. I’ve been told my brand of alternative doesn’t sell, it’s not hardcore enough. Been told fat doesn’t sell, that I’m too short, too old, too straight, too queer, too shy. If you don’t want to hire me, book me or enjoy my work because you think I’ve ‘ruined’ myself, I don’t care to hear it. If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. Natural Beauty isn’t about being unmodified or fitting a mold. I’m still as natural and beautiful as I ever was with black hair (How people thought that was my natural color is beyond me, but thanks for flattering my styling game!). How silly this is a thing that actually even needs to be talked about, and judging by the feedback I got when I even suggested modifying my hair, it does.
Now I look as vibrant as I feel. I get to wear my favorite colors with me all the time
I have a belly
I have large thighs and
I have a big butt
I’m a Purple Nurple and
I love my body <3
Expect more hair photos after I pick up my new styling device, because I can tell you right now, vintage 40s style hair do’s look great on me!
“Twohy’s message here is a clear and powerful one as she juxtaposes Harry Potter-themed pornography with more mainstream pornography—and how important (and valuable) it is to many consumers of erotic fan fiction that the sex is just one part of a larger story and that they know the personalities, names, and faces behind the genitals.” -i09
I am one of those people, and this is definitely one of the reasons I like erotic literature. PEOPLE are what’s important to me. We are more than pretty faces and orifices.
